Silver Oak Percherons is a NAERIC approved family operated Percheron horse farm with 200 head of Registered Percheron Draft Horses roaming on 2000 acres of pasture south of Boissevain Manitoba Canada.
The equine ranch is owned & operated by Darcy Strain and Spud Strain and families.
Silver Oak Percherons has been raising registered Percheron horses since 1976. Hitch geldings from the Silver Oak breeding program have excelled in numerous hitches at top shows all across North America and all the way to England.
If you are looking for breeding stock, hitch horses, pleasure horses or work horses contact us for further inquiries. Information and pictures of the percheron horses we have available for sale will be added to the website later this year.
Silver Oak breeds 100 registered Percheron mares annually yielding 70 registered Percheron foals for sale each year, including many top show prospects. Quite often a good selection of black and grey breeding horses and hitch prospects are on hand.
All sexes and ages of horses are available for private treaty on the farm. If you are interested in purchasing from us or would like to come by for a closer look, please feel free to contact us.
